Overview

Allegiant, a major ULCC based in Las Vegas with 5,000+ employees, outgrew its internal flight-booking system and needed a scalable, user-friendly way to manage employee, buddy pass, vendor, and interline travel. ID90 Travel delivered a turnkey platform that unified everything—delivering higher adoption, lower friction, and measurable value.

The Challenge

  • Operational drag: Maintaining an in-house employee travel system strained IT and support resources.
  • Fragmented experience: Multiple tools created inconsistent workflows for space-available, buddy passes, and positive-space business travel.
  • Limited extensibility: Vendor travel and interline scenarios were hard to support and scale.

Our Solution

Our solution was implemented in four strategic phases, enabling a smooth transition and continuous enhancement of Allegiant’s travel program.

  1. Phase
    Employee Ticketing Unified

    Transitioned all online ticketing for Allegiant (G4) employees to ID90 Travel, including:

    • Space-available (non-rev) travel
    • Buddy passes
    • Positive-space business travel
  2. Phase
    Vendor Travel Enabled

    Built a vendor travel solution so service-provider employees and their eligible travelers could book on G4.

    Program Enhancements

    Introduced configurable programs and features to fit Allegiant’s policies and workflows:

    • Alternative payment methods
    • Prorated guest pass allocations
    • Open enrollment
    • Additional policy-driven features
  4. Phase
    Interline Access

    Launched interline agreements within ID90, enabling G4 employees to book on other ID90 partner airlines

Results & Impact

With single sign-on (SSO) access to ID90 Travel, employees and their travelers now enjoy a simple, self-service experience for all their travel needs.
