Lima is a beautiful city of amazing foods and amazing scenery. From the moment you get to the city, the hospitality of the people and the welcoming atmosphere of the country is so inviting. I got to visit quite a few amazing places, but the park called El Beso (The Kiss) which is a large sculpture in the "Parque del Amor" (Park of Love) by the Pacific Ocean in the Miraflores district of Lima, Peru stands out. It depicts the sculptor, Victor Delfín, and his wife kissing. According to local accounts, the mayor of the district holds a competition for the couple who could sustain the longest kiss, and this sculpture is the inspiration for this celebration. The park is supposedly inspired by Antoni Gaudí's Parc Guell in Barcelona.
